Paul is a highly experienced player and coach and has trained at some of the very best tennis academies in the UK and in Spain.
He competed in National and International Tournaments achieving a world ranking in junior tennis. As a junior, he competed against and trained with top level players.
Paul has managed wins against three of the Davis Cup Team that won the World Finals in 2016: Jamie Murray, James Ward and Dominic Inglot. He also beat Jonathan Marray, who went on to win the men’s doubles title at Wimbledon in 2012.
Following this success Paul secured a full Sponsorship deal which enabled him to travel and compete in International Tournaments. Unfortunately, following an accident which caused a shoulder injury, his professional career was cut short and forced him to retire in 1998 when he was nearly 18 years old.
Since then Paul has been committed to building a career in tennis and has spent the last 12 years developing his coaching skills and teaching methods to a very advanced level. Paul is passionate about training juniors, developing them technically and building them both mentally and physically for tennis. He encourages every player to be the very best they can be and to achieve their goals in this fantastic sport
